Affiliate Program Terms

These program terms are maintained in English only. The English version is the legally binding one — any other language is provided for reading convenience only.

These terms govern your participation in the CouplesGPT Affiliate Program (the "Program"). They are in addition to the general CouplesGPT Terms of Service. We've kept them short and in plain language.

1. Who can join

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your country of residence. You may join as an individual or on behalf of a business you're authorised to represent.

2. How attribution works

When someone visits couplesgpt.ai/<your-tag>, we set a long-lived referral cookie on their device (re-issued on every visit, so it effectively never expires for any returning click), and we record their IP address as a fallback for cross-device signups. If they later create a CouplesGPT account the account is attributed to you. Once the account pairs with a partner, the attribution applies to the couple — if their partner ends up paying the subscription, you still earn. IP-based attribution is capped per IP to bound abuse without breaking legitimate household sharing. See the in-app "How we track and credit you" overview for the full mechanics.

3. Commissions

Once a referred account starts paying for a subscription, you earn a percentage of the net revenue (i.e. after payment-processor fees, App Store fees and Google Play fees) for the lifetime of that subscription. The current rate, the fee assumptions and the per-month dollar amounts are always shown live on the affiliate home page.

Rates can change. CouplesGPT may adjust the affiliate percentage, the fee schedule, the underlying subscription price, the attribution window, the payout threshold, and any other Program economics at any time and at our sole discretion. Changes take effect when posted on the affiliate site. We will not retroactively reduce commissions that have already been earned and recorded — only future earnings are affected.

4. Earning lifecycle

Pending — when a referred user pays, the commission is held for 45 days to absorb refunds, chargebacks and disputes.
Available — after 45 days the commission clears and becomes payable.
Paid — once your available balance reaches the minimum payout threshold, we send the payout.

If a referred payment is refunded or charged back during the pending window, the matching commission is cancelled. If it happens after payout, we may net it against future earnings.

5. Payouts

The current minimum payout threshold is shown in your dashboard. Payouts are made via the methods we support (initially manual; bank transfer and PayPal are coming as the system is automated). You are responsible for any tax owed in your jurisdiction, and for completing any tax paperwork (such as a W-8BEN for non-US individuals) that we are legally required to collect before paying you.

6. How you may promote CouplesGPT

You may share your link anywhere a real human will see it — your blog, newsletter, social profile, YouTube, podcast, etc. Be honest about who you are and that you'll earn a commission if someone subscribes.

7. What you must not do

No spam — unsolicited bulk email, DMs or comments.
No self-referrals or fake accounts to generate commissions on your own subscriptions or fake-friend subscriptions you funded.
No misleading claims — don't describe CouplesGPT as a licensed therapist, medical service or anything it isn't, and don't put words in our mouth that we haven't said.
No cookie stuffing, iframe pixels, malware, ad-injection extensions, typosquatting on the CouplesGPT brand, or bidding on the CouplesGPT brand name in paid search.
No incentivised traffic that doesn't reflect genuine interest (cashback sites, traffic bots, paid-to-click services).
No content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that exploits minors.

8. Trademarks and content

You may use the CouplesGPT name, logo and screenshots to promote the Program, as long as you do so accurately and don't imply endorsement of unrelated products. We may ask you to stop using any specific asset; please do so promptly.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close any affiliate account that breaches these terms, appears fraudulent, or damages the CouplesGPT brand — including forfeiture of any unpaid commissions tied to the breach. You may close your account at any time. Cleared commissions earned in good faith before termination remain payable.

10. No employment relationship

You are an independent participant in the Program, not an employee, partner, agent or representative of CouplesGPT. You may not enter into any agreement on behalf of CouplesGPT.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CouplesGPT is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Program is limited to the commissions paid to you over the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will reflect any change. If a change materially reduces your rights, we'll surface it on the dashboard. Continuing to use the Program means you accept the current version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
